Ok, this is a slightly bizarre topic but I wondered had anyone done any exploration of the various water courses in the valley? I've already done a write-up for the Nant Bochlwyd which is surprisingly good (and better than taking the path):

The stream that flows from Cwm Lloer (below Pen yr Ole Wen) down to the valley looks like it would make a nice gentle grade 1. I also want to investigate the stream flowing down from Cwm Perfedd (below Mynydd Perfedd), the one flowing from Cwm Cywion (between Y Garn and Foel Goch), and possibly the one flowing down from between Y Garn's two ridges.
