yey- I knew they needed replacing soon, but stupidly (money honey) kept leaving them until I had to sit on the floor and wait for someone and got a very wet bum.

anyways, what do people here recommend, get on with (or even hate) waterproof trouser wise. I know ultimately it's gonna be the ones that fit and are comfortable, but can anyone recommend a starting place?

must be light weight, have 3/4 length zips at least, and not toooooo expensive. If they could stand up to the occassional misplaced boot or crampon as well that would be a bonus.

I'm sure Terry will post to say that he uses old rubber ones and cuts ventilation slits with a knife.... Wink
