New boots

Hi all

Due to just having knee reconstruction i am looking to lighten some of my kit. Since i currently have a pair of raichle mt peak boots which are pretty heavy they are one of the first things im looking to change.

Below is the 2 pairs of boots i have been looking at and was wondering if anyone had any experience with either.

I like these bar the colours as they are i bit bright for me and can anyone tell me if the 1.19kg is for both boots?

I really like these ones but the rubber rand doesnt go round the full boot so i would be easy to scuff the sides up on the rock.

Sorry i have no experience with these boots but the first pair look quite bulky for scrambling, the second pair look ok and they appear to have a tough front toe to them, out of the two i would go for the second pair but perhaps not in yellow Very Happy

I bought a pair of trango`s last year,the older version,and they are the most comfortable boots i`ve ever had! A plus point is that they are crampon compatible too so you can use them for low grade winter stuff too !!
