Willdboar Cough Car parking is available at Torside SK 068981.

From the back the car park you reach the Trans pennine Bridleway follow this 150 metres to where a footpath is is clearly marked Wildboar clough, follow this directly to the star of the scramble.

Once in the gully follow the bed, easy at first but soon you reach a series of steps with good scrambling, you often have a choice of routes so you can pick the grade to suit. In normal water levels it is always possible to find a way up without getting wet & the gully is always escapable if you have problems.

Care must be taken with this route in wet conditions at the rock gets very greasy.
