Blackden Brook is Accessed from the A57 'Snake Pass' road and is the obvious wide gulley to the left of The Wicken above Blagden Barn running SW from OS 131895.

The scrambling occurs if you stick to the bed of the gully, particularly in the upper section. The top lands you close the The Seal Stones from where another path takes you back down to the road and along to the car.
