This route was last climbed on 10.03.07. The description below is how it was that day. Do not assume that the first 60ft, the top of which is dangerous and constantly changing has remained in the same condition. All measurements are estimates. Free NT car park in the hamlet of Bossington.

Follow the coastpath signs to Hurlstone Point. Route took one and a half hours for a group of 3. 60ft. 18m. Start on the beach 30m east of Fledgeling Wall under an overhanging ledge with a large boulder perched upon it. Climb up to the boulder and move right along the wide quartz streaked ledge past its narrow point until below the obvious large holds in better rock.

Ascend the large holds with difficulty, moving left then back right. Exit into an unstable area of large boulders seemingly cemented together by red earth. Pick your way carefully up through these to belay at a large oblong boulder laying at the foot of the 50 degree grass slope. 320ft. 97m Climb the grass spur which has the odd embedded boulder here and there for protection. 100ft. 30m Climb the rock above the alternative coastpath to the grass slope. 420ft.128m Follow the edge easily to the sharp ridge junction with the alternative coastpath and a rewarding view of the Vale of Porlock
